Design & Build
The design is nearly identical to the original AirPods Pro, with the same stem-based form factor with force sensors. The silicone ear tips now come in four sizes (XS, S, M, L) for a better fit. The MagSafe Charging Case now features a built-in speaker for Find My alerts and a lanyard loop, making it much easier to locate. The case supports MagSafe, Qi, and even Apple Watch chargers. Performance

The Adaptive Transparency mode is a standout feature, dynamically reducing loud environmental noises (sirens, construction) while still letting you hear your surroundings naturally. Sound quality has been meaningfully improved, with a custom high-excursion driver and a high dynamic range amplifier delivering deeper bass, cleaner mids, and extended treble. Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking creates an immersive listening experience that adapts to your head shape.

Conversation Awareness is a thoughtful addition - when you start speaking, the volume lowers and transparency engages automatically. The swipe gesture on the stem for volume control is intuitive and works well. Battery life is rated at 6 hours with ANC on (up from 4.5 hours on the original) and over 30 hours with the case. The U1 chip in the case enables Precision Finding via the Find My app, showing you the exact distance and direction to your misplaced case. Voice Isolation during calls is dramatically improved, making you sound clear even in noisy environments.
